Gonna use it to support my
patio canopy,and anchor it to ground,which this is perfect for.It fits the 1 3/8" pipe perfectly. I am not sure about the coating it has. Doesn't look hot galvanized to stand up to years of weathering. The price is right though. I just saturated it with zinc paint purchased at the local hardware store,and hit it with some silver heavy duty Krylon spray paint.

Helps hold canopy down...has 3 holes so you can put stakes in further hold down the canopy. Also helps keep the canopy poles from going into the dirt.
