We used the canopy fittings to erect a framework over chain link dog kennels so we could attach tarps to provide protection from weather and sun. This peak fitting was great, but would be better if the main tube did not have a weld bump. This would not allow a continuous shaft through the tube, which gave the connection a little less strength than possible with a clear through shaft.
