The manufactured carport which my RV is parked in is open on the east and west ends which receive morning and afternoon sun. I have strung a 3/8" cable up high across the west side and have the shade tarp hanging by its grommets with "S" hooks. The bottom corners are connected to the posts with bungee cords which allows the tarp some give.
